Welcome — I’m Samantha Scott, honored to serve as
Miss Louisa County’s Teen.
I’m a student leader, published author and the founder of Home Sweet Hope (also known as Wrapping Our Communities in Care), an initiative dedicated to addressing homelessness through awareness, service and community engagement.
My passion for this work is rooted in my family’s history. In the 1970s, my great-grandfather immigrated to the United States from Trinidad and found shelter through the YMCA — an opportunity that changed the course of our family’s life. Inspired by that story, I launched Home Sweet Hope to help ensure others receive dignity, warmth and support during times of housing insecurity.
Thank you for being here. I invite you to learn more about my mission and how we can work together to support our communities.
